With 25 years of experience in the beauty industry, Samatha has been able to build a cross-sector expertise and a robust ecosystem in both the corporate and start-up sectors. She notably held the position of Global General Manager of Sephora Own Brand, member of the executive committee of Sephora. For the last 2 years, she has worked at BOLD, the corporate venture fund of the L'Oréal group as Global General Manager.

Folake Shasanya, is a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan heading up venture capital relationship coordination for the Innovation Economy EMEA business.
Folake is a leader in the Innovation economy ecosystem, developed schemes to provide capital, knowledge and networks to overlooked founders and has fostered relationships across investors, ecosystems builders, tech corporates and government.
Folake is passionate about entrepreneurship and propelling the startup ecosystem. An Active Angel and LP, she was a board advisor of Lagos Tigers Football club and founding member of Investment Eight, a female angel syndicate.
