Moving as love // wiggling with Ocean
Discover a playful somatic practice to soften tension, spark insight, and reconnect with yourself.
Wiggling is a somatic movement practice done low to the ground, eyes closed, guided by the sensations of your body. It draws on the therapeutic intelligence of non-habitual movement—moving the body in ways prompted by curiosity and discovery, releasing tension the body has been holding, and leaving you feeling more grounded and at ease in yourself.
People often walk away feeling lighter, more spacious, and with new clarity. Some arrive carrying the weight of the world and leave having put it down. Others surface an insight, or simply feel restored in a beautifully grounded way.
During 1.5 hours on a Sunday afternoon, we'll move through reflective journaling, guided wiggling, and relaxation—a gentle container for restoration and reflection before the week begins.

About Ocean
👋 Hi! I'm Ocean, a movement practitioner and facilitator with a decade-long background in psychology, somatics, and nervous system regulation. I've been exploring and teaching somatic movement for several years, and I bring warmth, curiosity, and a deep trust in the body's own intelligence to everything I facilitate. I also provide bodywork at my home-clinic in Wellington City.
This is open to anyone curious and in need of a space to rest and restore. No prior experience needed.

💝 testimonials from past wigglers
“What a gift thank you! Ocean is such a love and light in this world and her mastery is beautiful! An experience worth investing your time in and watch the things unfold in mind and body!”
“I practice yoga, which involves mind and body. I find the wiggling sessions to be unique because I move my body how it wants to move. I am also attuned to the sensations of my body while moving.”
“I feel more self-connection, slowing down and accessing more feeling and sensation.”
“Wiggling is like an embodied or somatic meditative movement that’s done low to the ground at the pace of my body, not my mind.”
“I feel calmer and less triggered”
“I think everyone can benefit from this (trauma or no trauma) it's such a lovely way to provide an act of self love.”
"My relationship with myself has improved from regular wiggling. A bit less people pleasing and a bit more me pleasing and self compassion."
"The restoration I feel afterwards isn't something I've been able to find in more structured movement practices or in stillness-based restorative practices. Wiggling occupies this beautiful sweet spot where the body gets to lead without pressure or choreography."
"I leave feeling more connected to myself, clearer inside."
