IIT Roorkee Bay Area Community Meet & Greet
There are plenty of Roorkee alumni in the Bay Area we haven't met yet. Let's change that.
Join us for our gathering in San Francisco to meet people across batches, catch up over a drink, and hear what everyone has been doing since Roorkee.
We'll start with introductions and a few icebreakers, move into small-group conversations, and leave plenty of time to mingle. Talk about what you're working on, something you're figuring out, how you're using AI, or ask a senior for chapo if you're feeling nostalgic.
What we'd continue like to build
A Roorkee network in the Bay Area where it becomes easier to ask for help, share an opportunity, and learn from someone who has been through it.
Whether you're building a company, working in a team, consulting, or investing, there's plenty we could learn from one another. We'd like this community to be a place to exchange ideas, share hiring and career opportunities, make introductions where we can, and compare notes on how technology and AI are changing our work.
This gathering is part reunion, part brainstorm. We'll use it to design together what this community should actually be: what circles to start, such as hikes and travel, startups and AI, and career help, how often to meet, and what would make it useful enough to keep coming back to. If you want a say in that, this is the room to be in.
Bring one thing you're exploring, looking for, or happy to help someone with. It could be a project, a hiring need, a career question, or something you've learned recently. We'll use these to get the conversations started.
All batches and professional backgrounds are welcome. Come on your own or bring another Roorkee alum nearby.
