Compassionate Touch: Elemental Journey

A Six-Week Immersion into the Language of Touch

We honor the elemental sense of touch through artful and embodied listening to discover our raw humanity.

Touch is a fundamental human need — yet many of us were never taught how to ask for what we want, or how to offer touch with clarity, presence, and care.

Compassionate Touch: Elemental Journey is a six-week experiential series designed to deepen your connection to compassionate, platonic touch — and to give you real vocabulary for how you want to be touched and how you want to touch others.

Together, we’ll move through the elements as living experiences in the body:

  • Ether (3/11) – spaciousness, subtlety, energetic presence

  • Air (3/18) – lightness, curiosity, breath, play

  • Water (3/25) – flow, receptivity, emotional attunement

  • Fire (4/1) – intensity, clarity, edges, aliveness

  • Earth (4/8) – grounding, weight, steadiness, support

  • Finale (4/15) - full journey through all five elements

Each week will introduce specific techniques and guided partner exercises that refine your awareness and expand your capacity. You’ll leave not only with new embodied experiences, but with language — words and requests you can use in your daily life to communicate the quality, pace, pressure, and intention of touch you desire.

Our final session will be a full journey through all five elements, weaving together everything you’ve learned into an integrated experience.

~Series Details~

Dates: Wednesdays, March 11 – April 15

Time: 7:00–9:00 PM

Location: Watertown Center for Healing Arts

We’ve quickly come to love this space — its beautiful, grounded energy holds us in a way that allows us to stretch, soften, and go deep.

Participation:

The first week (Ether – March 11) is open to all and serves as the foundation for the series.

To attend Weeks 2–6, you must either:

  • Attend the first session, or

  • Have previously attended a Compassionate Touch event.

This ensures a shared understanding of consent, agreements, and the container we co-create.

~Investment~

We’re offering a special full-series rate of $120 — more than a third off the regular per-session price.

We strongly encourage attending the full arc if you’re able. The depth builds week by week, and the final integration session is designed to be transformative when experienced as a complete journey.

If cost is a barrier; please reach out to [email protected] ~ no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

*Important Note*

This is a no-nudity, non-sexual event. All touch is guided by clear agreements and enthusiastic consent. This workshop is open to all genders and individuals aged 18 and above.
