About Event

An invitation only roundtable bringing together Indigenous leaders, funders, and financial innovators to explore how financing can strengthen Indigenous-led territorial stewardship in the Amazon. Join representatives from Amazon Sacred Headwaters Alliance, the BioFi Project, Regen Network, Fundación Pachamama and New York Community Trust (host), alongside impact investors, foundations, and strategic partners to learn emerging approaches, tackle barriers to long-term financing, and imagine the architecture needed to scale this work.

An intimate conversation on patient capital, direct-access mechanisms for indigenous peoples, conservation / biocultural stewardship income and what it takes to support territorial stewardship beyond conventional financial returns.

Roundtable Featuring:

  • Arturo Garcia-Costas (Host), New York Community Trust

  • Uyunkar Domingo Peas, Amazon Sacred Headwaters Alliance

  • Samantha Power, The BioFi Project

  • David Forston, Regen Network

  • Belen Paez, Fundación Pachamama

  • Atossa Soltani, Amazon Sacred Headwaters Alliance

Invitation-only. Light lunch provided.
