GoodBaudi™ is a premium Caribbean-centered lifestyle and wellness membership-based company whose mission is to advance the health and wealth of its members while circulating capital throughout the Black and Caribbean diaspora. This event directly advances the economic-impact component of that mission.
The Jamaican Nationals Association of the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area has served the Jamaican community for more than 50 years. Founded in 1969 at Howard University, JNA works to unite people of Jamaican heritage and friends of Jamaica, promote Jamaican culture and heritage, and provide educational and charitable support in the Washington metropolitan area, other U.S. Jamaican communities, and Jamaica.
The Business Showcase brings that longstanding community mission into entrepreneurship. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet business owners, learn about their work, and intentionally support businesses operating throughout our community. The panel will explore entrepreneurship from the perspective of business owners at different stages, including starting and growing a business, attracting customers, navigating challenges, leveraging relationships and community, and expanding access to opportunity.
GoodBaudi™ Founder & CEO and Jamaican-American attorney Naudia S. Foster will participate as one of the featured business-owner panelists.
