A free webinar featuring firsthand experiences and professional insights into trauma, mental health, and recovery in Israel.

12:00–1:00 PM (Toronto Time)
Nearly three years after October 7, the psychological impact of the attacks and the war that followed continues to affect individuals, families, and communities across Israel.
What was it like for the mental health professionals who responded in those first critical hours? And what have they learned from supporting survivors and families through the long journey toward recovery?
Join Israel Magen Fund of Canada (IMFoC) for a special conversation with three psychiatrists from Soroka Medical Center: Prof. Gal Meiri, Dr. Hadar Sadeh, and Dr. Sapir Biton.
Through firsthand accounts and professional perspectives, our guests will share their experiences caring for the injured, evacuees, families searching for loved ones, returned hostages, and people continuing to live with the psychological consequences of October 7.
The conversation will explore the immediate mental health response, the ongoing challenges of trauma and PTSD, and the importance of professional care and community support in helping individuals and families rebuild their lives.
