AI Build Day by ARC Ladies
The ARC ladies have been running AI demo sessions for the past two months and having a lot of fun learning from what everyone is building.
We’ve also been getting requests for more AI sharing, so as an experiment, we’re opening our next session up to EVERYONE here!
After the last session, you told us what you wanted next: a hands-on session where we work through the same process together, from scratch and step by step.
So that's what this is. 💜
Michelle, ARC's Creative Lead, will take us through her workflow for turning an idea into a live website from scratch. We’ll build alongside her in real time, and this session is completely beginner-friendly (no technical background needed to join).

What we'll cover
Starting with a clear objective: what your website is for, who it's for, and the images or assets you'll need
Using a
design.mdfile: How to shape your website’s look, feel and layoutAdding interactive components: How to move beyond a static page and choose interactions that make sense for your website
Choosing how to build: When to use a one-shot prompt & when to build section-by-section
Launching your website: How to deploy it with a simple drag, drop and launch
What you need to prepare before the session
Install Claude Code or ChatGPT Codex. We’ll be demonstrating using Claude Code. ChatGPT Codex works too if you already use it, either one on the paid plan.
Create a free Vercel account. This is what we'll use to launch your site.
What to bring
Your laptop
Optional: an idea you have been wanting to build (a travel recap, your portfolio, business site) or just come and build alongside us!
To wrap up
If time permits, we’ll end with a quick sharing so everyone can see what we made and learn from one another.
