Insulin Reset: My Story
A personal story about data, burnout, and what longevity actually looks like at 40
In 2023, I was diagnosed with insulin resistance.
No dramatic symptoms. No lifestyle crisis. Just a routine blood test — and a number that shouldn't have been where it was.
What followed was two years of tracking my own biology obsessively: continuous glucose monitors, hormone panels, HRV data, sleep scores. Trying to fix a metabolic problem with metabolic solutions.
Then I left a high-stress job. And within months, without medication and without a dramatic diet overhaul, every flagged marker normalized.
It turned out the diagnosis wasn't wrong. The question was just never asked: what was happening in my life?
In this session, I will share:
What my actual lab data showed across three years — and what it means in plain language
How chronic stress mimics metabolic disease, and why most people never connect the two
The tools I used to track my biology at home (CGM, HRV, blood panels) and what I learned from them
What I changed, what I haven’t, and what I wish I’d known at 35
You'll leave with:
✦ A different way of reading your own body's signals
✦ Practical starting points for tracking what actually matters
✦ The reassurance that you're probably not broken — you might just be exhausted
This is not a medical talk. It's an honest conversation about data, burnout, and what it really takes to build a body that lasts.
Open to everyone. No biohacking experience required.
