Kickoff Day #3 is all about financing your deep-tech project.
In this session, Victoria Hoffmann and Marko Häckel introduce grants as a way to finance pilots. The two will guide you through the German landscape, from what's available to how to apply and win the grant.
About the Speakers
Victoria Hoffmann is the Co-founder and CEO of SectorPi, and is is deeply rooted in the startup and VC scene. She previously led the Western European ecosystem at EIT Digital, has invested in deep tech startups, and mentors startups at EIT and SpinLab. She is also the initiator of startupvc.de and host of the Startup Insider podcast series From Uni to Unicorn.
Dr. Marko Häckel is a partner at SectorPi, a platform that helps companies find and apply for public funding. A chemist with a PhD, Marko has more than 20 years of experience in research and innovation funding at regional, national and European level, including at Bosch. He has also co-founded several deep tech startups himself, so he knows the funding process from the founder side.

About Kickoff Week
Kickoff week (Nov 16 to 20) is where the program starts. It's online and front-loaded: about four hours across the week, then a light weekly rhythm once the core program begins. You'll meet your coaches, get the tools to work your live deals, and hear from practitioners who have done it themselves, including sessions on qualifying buyers and financing pilots.
