Drink Wine, Save Gredos

​This July, a biggest wildfire in Spanish history swept through the Sierra de Gredos, touching vineyards, forests, and the homes of people who've given so much to Spanish wine and gastronomy. We wanted to do something simple but real: gather around a table and turn a shared meal into support.

​On September 19th, join us at Vereda in Ávila for a lunch made with heart. Chef Guzmán Sanches has created a special six-course menu for the occasion, paired with six wines from his partner Barbara Requejo, founder and winemaker of Las Pedreras. Between courses, Barbara will share her story and a closer look at the region its soil, its people, and what it means to rebuild after fire.

​This isn't a commercial event. Every seat is €99, and the goal isn't profit it's presence. If you've ever fallen for a wine from these hills, or dreamed of the wild beauty of Gredos, this is a chance to give something back.

· A talk from winemaker Barbara on the region and her story
· Direct train available from Madrid Chamartín to Ávila

​Ilia Garnacha_Man Kirilin, wine journalist, educator and expert in wines from Sierra de Gredos, he will share personal stories about his favorite wines from the region

​Gigi Vicoletto, creative director and event manager with experiences in Wakana Reunion festival and OneThousandClub in Madrid, he will make sure that everything goes perfect
