June UAHT Coalition Meeting
June Coalition Showcase: Protecting Houston During the Global Summer of Soccer
As Houston prepares for an unprecedented series of worldwide soccer matches this June, our city is gearing up for a massive influx of international visitors and economic activity. While these matches bring a spirit of celebration, we recognize that such a significant surge in tourism and spending creates an environment ripe for human trafficking and exploitation.
The UAHT Coalition serves as the central nervous system for Houston’s anti-trafficking efforts. We are a collective of social service agencies, faith-based groups, and business partners dedicated to a systemic, coordinated solution. We believe that ending exploitation requires more than just awareness; it requires a unified network of resources.
Why Attend?
This month’s meeting is our Coalition Showcase. We are inviting all organizations—from healthcare and hospitality to local government and non-profits—to join us. This is the perfect opportunity to:

Meet the Movement: Get a "behind-the-scenes" look at the organizations that make up the anti-trafficking movement and learn about the specific work being done across Greater Houston.
Discover Our Mission: Learn how the coalition coordinates care and advocacy to ensure that every survivor has access to the support they need.
Get Involved: Whether you are directly involved in anti-trafficking work or simply care about the safety of our community, find out how your organization can support our collective mission during this high-traffic season.
The influx of visitors this June is a call to action. Come learn who we are, what we do, and how we can work together to keep our city safe.
