REALITY Shabbat Dinner at The Bench

​Hi friends,

​We're excited to invite you to a very special REALITY Shabbat dinner on Friday, May 2, hosted at The Bench — a beautiful new event space on the Lower East Side (recently featured in Vogue, no big deal).

​From the moment we saw the Shabbat gatherings they’ve been curating at The Bench, we knew it would be the perfect setting for our community to come together for an evening of connection, intention, and celebration.

​Here’s what to expect: We’ll begin with cocktails and conversation, move into Shabbat rituals and blessings, and then enjoy a seated Mediterranean dinner. There will be light programming, a few surprises, and plenty of l’chaims. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be served.

​Here is how the night will flow…

​6:30pm - Arrive, connect & unwind from the week

​7:00pm - Shabbat rituals & blessings 

​7:30pm - Dinner 

​8:30pm – Music, dancing, and continued conversation

​Thanks to a generous Schusterman grant, the evening is largely subsidized, but we are asking for a small contribution to help cover event costs. If that’s a concern for you, please don’t hesitate to reach out — we’ll do our best to accommodate. The event will be capped at 60 people.

​This gathering is open to both REALITY alumni and new faces. If there’s someone in your world who you think would be a great addition to this community, please feel free to bring them along. We believe the magic of the evening is only enhanced by a diverse and vibrant group.
