Weeknight Wanderings: Mt Falcon Park Hike 🥾
Shake off the Tuesday energy and join for a sunset stomp through one of the Front Range's most underrated parks. Mount Falcon Park has it all: sweeping Rocky Mountain views that will make your phone camera work overtime, and the actual stone ruins of a castle that someone just... left there. On a mountain. In Colorado. We have questions, and the hike will give us plenty of time to discuss them.
The plan is a 4 mile loop, which is the perfect amount of trail to feel accomplished without completely destroying your legs before the rest of the work week. We'll meet at the West Trailhead and be back before your evening gets too out of hand. Bring water, slap on some sunscreen, and wear shoes that can handle some rocky terrain. The castle ruins don't require formal attire, but sturdy footwear is appreciated.
This one wraps up in about 2 hours, so there's really no excuse not to come. A weeknight hike beats doomscrolling on your couch, and the mountains will still be there looking gorgeous whether or not you RSVP'd in time. Come say hi to Julie and let's get moving.
