​This online training is designed for activists and community members who are already engaged in local organising and want to enhance how they participate in digital community discussions and create positive change. In today’s world, so much of community life and conversation happens online: in neighbourhood groups, local forums, and social media spaces. These are the places where narratives are shaped, challenged, and transformed.

​In Turning the Tide, you’ll learn practical methods of digital community organising: how to participate in online groups effectively, how to approach arguments with empathy, and how to build trust while persuading others. We will cover strategies for shifting harmful narratives, creating constructive dialogue, and helping your community change their perspectives for the better.

​The training will be interactive and practice-oriented, giving you the tools to confidently engage in online spaces, and inspire your local community through thoughtful digital engagement.
