[Free women only hike]: Two lakes - Schliersee to Tegernsee via Gindelalm
This hike is hosted by Edit 🙂
One of Bavaria's classic point-to-point trails. From the shores of Schliersee, through steep forest, past alpine meadows and the beloved Gindelalm mountain hut, over the Gindelalmschneid ridge with panoramic views of both lakes, and down into Tegernsee. Two lakes, one ridge, cold beer at the top. This is the one. 🏔️
Distance: 11.9 km · Elevation: ~575 m · Time: 4.5 to 5 h · Difficulty: Moderate. Steep initial climb on good paths throughout. Some rocky sections near the ridge. Sturdy shoes required. 🥾
