Queer Craft Club: Drawing + Painting
Hello hello to all the queer craft enthusiasts out there 👋 🌈
This month’s themed craft night in partnership with QNS Collaborative will be on Tuesday, August 11th from 6-8pm, focused on painting/drawing. Bring a WIP, start a new project, sharpen your skills, learn from others, sketch the night away etc. Limited Supplies (paintbrushes, pencils, paint, palettes, paper etc) will be provided but you’re welcome to bring your own :)
Accessibility:
The meetup will be located at Queens Collaborative’s “Collaboratory,” a studio space located at 2107 41st Avenue in Long Island City, an ADA-accessible elevator building. There are accessible gendered restrooms as well as a non-gendered, accessible single stall restroom on the floor where the studio is. The building is located right next to the 21st Street Queensbridge F station, which has elevators and escalators. There are nearby bus stops for the Q66, Q69, Q100, Q102, and Q103
HOW TO FIND US
Our studio is located at 21-07 41st Avenue. When you get to the building, please scan the QR code on the door and find The Collaboratory in the directory to be buzzed in.
Once inside, you can take the elevator to Floor 2 and find us in Studio #213.
MASK REMINDER
The Collaboratory is a Masks Required space. 😷 We also run two air filters/purifiers during our gatherings. If you don't arrive with a mask, don't worry—we'll have them available at the door.
If you're not feeling well or have reason to believe you've been exposed to COVID, please consider staying home. COVID is real y'all, let's keep each other safe. 😷
REFUND POLICY
At this time the QNSC is unable to issue refunds except on a case by case basis. If you are unable to attend an event for which you have purchased a ticket, tickets can be transferred to another person at the buyer's arrangement.
