Join Build Canada in Ottawa for a special debate featuring Kevin Page (CEO, IFSD at uOttawa and former PBO) and Tim Sargent (Senior Fellow, MLI) at the National Arts Centre as they tackle the topic above.
About our Speakers...
Kevin Page is a Canadian economist, and was the first Parliamentary Budget Officer for Canada. He will be arguing in defence of the proposition.
Dr. Tim Sargent is a senior fellow and director of the Domestic Policy Program at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute. He will be arguing against the proposition.
Lucy Hargreaves is the co-founder and CEO of Build Canada, with an extensive history in public policy including as the Chief of Staff to Canada's former Associate Minister of Finance. She will be moderating.

5:45 PM ET: Doors open (we will be recording content beforehand and will ask everyone to be accommodating on arrival!)
5:45 PM - 6:45 PM: Light fare, drinks, and networking until sitting begins.
6:45 PM - 8:00 PM: Debate programme and Q&A runs
8:00 PM: Continued food, drinks, and networking until doors close.
9:00 PM: Teardown begins.
