About Event

What happens when the workplace leaves more of a mark on us than we realise?

Join Stephanie Ozuo and Shomi Williams for an open and supportive workshop exploring workplace trauma and its impact on Black professionals.

Together, we’ll explore:

  • What workplace trauma can look and feel like, and how to recognise the signs

  • Why Black professionals may experience workplace trauma in particular ways

  • How workplace experiences can shape our confidence, sense of belonging and relationship with our careers

  • Ways to recognise, navigate and begin to recover from difficult workplace experiences

There will also be space to share experiences, reflections and perspectives in a supportive environment. Simply come as you are, listen, reflect and connect with others who may have had similar experiences.

Hosted by Stephanie Ozuo & Shomi Williams

Stephanie is a qualified Careers Adviser supporting professionals with their career development and progression. Shomi Williams is a Mental Health & Wellbeing Specialist and Founder of Lafiya Health, a platform promoting mental health and wellbeing in inclusive and accessible ways.

Come along to explore the experiences we don't always have the language for, and to consider what healthier, more supportive working lives can look like.

Please note: This session will not be recorded.

By signing up, you'll be added to Stephanie Ozuo and Lafiya Health's mailing list.
