But what if it was far more simple and real? Not a statistic, but a feeling?
What if wellbeing was woven into the fabric of our daily lives? Embedded in our cultures and communities, the way it has been for centuries?
This communal gathering, rooted in science and expressed in spirit, is an invitation to reframe your approach to wellbeing with one simple question:
What makes you feel like yourself again?

Your host: I'm Alice, a writer & neuroscientist bridging culture and neuroscience.
In a world of performative wellness, I'm committed to sharing digestible information and accessible experiences to help you connect with wellbeing in a way that works for you.

What to expect:
* Learn the language of your nervous system: We will discuss scientific principles to help you understand your body and behaviours, and how to work with them to hear and feel your own needs and desires.
** Connecting with yourself: With a brief body scan, we will meditate on the prompt: What makes you feel like yourself again?, inviting your intuition to answer.
*** Express yourself: We will reflect on the prompt What makes you feel like yourself again? through creativity. By drawing, collaging, and/or writing, materials will be provided for you to remember the things that make you feel like yourself again.

A variety of non-alcoholic beverages and small snack-y dishes will be provided.
Invitation to bring:
1. A contribution (dish, drink, snack) that makes you feel like yourself again. (Reminds you of home, takes you back to childhood, whatever it may be...)
2. Any art supplies/materials that inspire you
