Scaling Adaptation Finance: Introducing the Resilience Challenge

​The Resilience Challenge is being developed by a group of leading development finance institutions (DFIs) to accelerate credible adaptation and resilience (A&R) finance and to demonstrate their commitment to building more resilient portfolios and scaling A&R solutions. Inspired by the 2X Challenge, it is not another taxonomy, but rather a practical and flexible reference point for qualifying A&R investments. The Challenge is designed to strengthen alignment among DFIs and the private sector, provide clearer expectations for co-investors, and create an entry point for funds, banks, corporates, and other private investors seeking to expand their role in A&R finance. At this session, the Resilience Challenge will be introduced alongside case studies to engage private sector discussion and feedback.
