​We will delve into the pivotal role played by human resources and talent in the implementation and scaling of artificial intelligence, both within and beyond the insurance value chain.

​From the previous Bites & Insights hosted by ITHM as part of our Scale AI programme, we have come to understand the concerns that some employees may feel, the regulatory challenges, and the internal silos that can interfere with the wise scaling of AI.

​We will now explore best practices and steps that the industry is already taking to break down silos, understanding where AI can serve as an enabler for personnel, while being aware of the associated risks and the upskilling needed to drive it forward.

​Christoph Rachinger: Senior Consultant in Munich Re’s Data & Analytics division, where he is responsible for Munich Re’s Data & AI Academy – the internal upskilling program for Data & AI-related topics within Munich Re.

​Marcela Schrank Fialova: over 15 years of experience in the industry. Currently leading human-matters.org, offering Consulting, Investor Due Diligence, Coaching, and HR overall support, to provide insights into individuals´ strengths, behaviours and potential within a workplace.

​They will provide preliminary observations on how performance can be enhanced through internal initiatives and share major anecdotes of how work dynamics are being transformed by AI, from redefining roles and skills to creating new job opportunities, emphasizing AI as an asset rather than a threat.
