Mushroom ID Walk

​A guided walk through the forest with mushroom and foraging expert Christian from Forage Urban.

​We'll be wandering through the woods, looking closely at what grows underfoot: how to find it, how to identify it, and how to tell what's what.

​This is a walk for noticing. We won't be picking, eating, or cooking anything. It's a chance to stop, look, appreciate and learn.

​Held in collaboration with Secret Fungi Festival, at Carey's Secret Garden in the forests of Wareham.

​The walk starts at 1pm and runs for around 1.5 to 2 hours.

​Limited to 25 people, so the group stays small enough to see, ask and learn properly.

​Entry to the Secret Fungi Festival is included, so you can stay on afterwards and explore the talks, stalls and experts.

​Wear sturdy shoes appropriate for the woods and dress for the weather. Please don't pick or taste anything, whatever you find.

​You'll leave able to tell a few more things apart than when you arrived.

​Come on your own, bring a friend, or come and meet some new people.
