Run or ride for charity in Amsterdam Oost! Choose 10k, 21k Run or 60k cycle. Coffee, beer, prizes + great vibes! ☕
Get ready for a fun, low-key charity race celebrating everything we love about Amsterdam Oost!
This event is all about community, movement, and giving back. All proceeds go towards making sport more accessible for young people in Amsterdam Oost (specific project/organisation to be announced soon).
Hosted by City Alps Personal Training & Cycling Studio (based in Oostpoort Shopping Center), the Oosties Race kicks off at the legendary Poesiat en Kater Brewery and takes you on an epic route through some of the best green spots in the area. Expect good vibes, friendly competition, and a great excuse to explore Oost with your fellow runners and riders.
Choose your challenge:
10 km Run
21 km Run (Half Marathon)
60 km Cycle Ride
All routes will head out toward Flevopark, Diemerpark, and beyond (cycling route especially). Final routes will be confirmed soon.
✔️ All routes will be self-navigation (bring your phone/GPS and sense of adventure!). The final routes/gpx links will be sent to those who enter.
We will create a Strava Group/Event for this to see the winners/leader board.
Your ticket includes:
☕ A cold brew or hot coffee from our local favourite roasters Rumbaba before the event starts
🍺 A well-earned beer at Poesiat en Kater after you finish
🎁 The chance to win amazing prizes at the end
Agenda:
10:30-11:45 | Pre-Race Registration at the Poesiat en Kater
12:00-12:15 | Race Briefing of all 3 events (10km run, 21km run, 60km cycle).
12:15-12:30 | Slowly jog/cycle 500m together to the offical start on Ooster Ringdijk which is a safer, more open starting point in order to avoid traffic
12:30 | Staggered Start of the Run and the Cycle
13:30-16:00 | Apres-Race vibes at the Brewery
15:30 | Prize Giving
