MBC Inaugural Gala — Terms & Conditions of Ticket Purchase
By purchasing one or more tickets to the MBC Inaugural Gala (the "Event"), hosted by Miami Business Club ("MBC"), you ("the Purchaser") acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms set forth below. Tickets may be purchased in any quantity within a single transaction. The Purchaser assumes responsibility for conveying these terms to each guest admitted under such purchase, and all such guests shall be bound by them as a condition of admission.
No refunds shall be issued for any reason after August 31st, including, without limitation, changes in the Purchaser's availability, inclement weather, illness, scheduling conflicts, or any inability to attend. The Event shall proceed rain or shine, and ordinary weather conditions, including rain, heat, humidity, or wind, shall not constitute grounds for a refund. Refunds shall be issued only in the event that the Event is cancelled by reason of a hurricane, including any hurricane watch or warning, tropical storm, or related directive issued by competent local authorities, or in the event that the venue cancels the Event. In either such circumstance, ticket holders shall receive a refund of the ticket price paid, less any non-recoverable payment processing fees, and such refund shall constitute the Purchaser's sole and exclusive remedy. MBC conducts its operations in South Florida and reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, relocate, or otherwise modify the Event as it deems necessary in the interest of guest safety. Where MBC elects to postpone or relocate the Event rather than cancel it, tickets shall be honored for the rescheduled date or alternate venue, and MBC shall make reasonable efforts to notify ticket holders by means of the contact information provided at the time of purchase.
MBC shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the holding of the Event arising from causes beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, hurricanes, natural disasters, acts of government, public health emergencies, failures of power or venue, or other events constituting force majeure. Attendance is undertaken at the Purchaser's own risk, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, MBC, together with its organizers, sponsors, and the venue, shall not be liable for any loss, injury, illness, or property damage arising from attendance at the Event. In no event shall MBC's aggregate liability exceed the total amount paid by the Purchaser for the tickets in question. MBC reserves the right to refuse admission to, or to remove from the premises, any guest whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe, or inconsistent with the standards of the Event, without refund. By attending, each guest consents to being photographed, filmed, or recorded, and grants MBC the right to use such images and recordings for promotional purposes without compensation. MBC reserves the right to amend these terms prior to the Event, and the version in effect at the time of purchase shall govern.
