Digital Platforms Summit 2026
This year’s edition of the Digital Platforms Summit will discuss the forthcoming Digital Fairness Act (DFA) and also explore how the Digital Markets Act (DMA) is reshaping online markets and governance. The event will take place on 25 February 2026 in a hybrid format at a critical time for the EU digital rulebook. As part of the event, Margrethe Vestager, former European Commissioner for Competition, will be in conversation with Bruno Liebhaberg, CERRE Founder and Executive Chairman, offering strategic insights on the evolving landscape of digital regulation.
In the morning, the Summit will examine important themes under the DFA, such as consumer protection by design, choice architectures, addictive design, minor protection, and the simplification of the regulatory framework. In the afternoon, the Summit will discuss the impact, the governance and the review of the DMA. High-level discussions and interactive panels will provide a space to reflect on enforcement lessons, anticipate challenges, and shape the next phase of Europe’s digital rulebook.
