Advanced Hermes Agent AI Workshop by Light School
A one-day hands-on training for purposeful Agentic co-creation Hermes Agent.
MacBook required. This workshop is Mac-only - we cannot accommodate Windows/PC computers for this session.
Prerequisite: this is an advanced workshop. You must have already attended a Light School AI Workshop, and have been actively using Claude Code, before attending. This is not a beginner session - we're building directly on skills you already have.
Imagine having your own AI agent that lives on your computer, remembers who you are across every conversation, learns new skills from experience, and can run your errands, monitor your business, and build things for you - even while you're asleep.
Hermes Agent is an open-source AI agent that runs in your terminal, on your phone via Telegram or Discord, and as a native desktop app - all sharing the same memory and skills. In one day, you'll set it up on your own machine and put it to work on a real problem you actually have.
This hands-on workshop is designed for founders, entrepreneurs, creators, and coaches who are ready to roll up their sleeves and turn an idea, pain-point, or opportunity into a working agent.

Deep-dive into how AI agents actually work - tools, memory, and skills
Set up Hermes Agent on your own machine, and connect it to the platforms you actually use
Define your own opportunity statement and build a real automation, skill, or tool by the end of the day

Turn a Skill Into a Repeatable Workflow
A participant working in e-commerce taught their agent a multi-step process once, and had it save that process as a reusable skill it could run again on command - no re-explaining required.

Maxime Goossens is a software engineer and two-time founder who traine v his first Al model 15 years ago. These days, he's fully Al-agent-pilled. Questions
Do I need any prior experience to attend?
Yes - this is an advanced workshop. You must have already attended a Light School AI Workshop, and have been actively using Claude Code, before attending. If you haven't yet, please join one of our beginner workshops first at https://lightschool.com/ai-workshops-lisbon/.
Why is this workshop only 15 spots?
We want to make sure everybody gets individual attention during the workshop so we limit spots delibrately to ensure a great experience for everybody who attends.
What If I can't attend this day?

Do I need to bring a computer?
Yes, please bring your own MacBook, and don't forget your charger. This workshop is Mac-only - we cannot accommodate Windows/PC computers this session.
What happens if I get stuck. Is there support during the building phase?
Yes, your teacher, and his staff will help provide technical support getting your machine working, and helping you through any issues if and when you get stuck.
I'm worried I'll slow the group down. Is that okay?
Don't worry, our staff and other students will be there to hold your hand every step of the way, and make sure your agent is setup, running, and you're making things by the end of the day.
What's the refund policy if I can't attend?
Please send team@lightschool.com an email if your plans change, and you can't attend. We can either refund the ticket, or give you a ticket to a future edition.
Can I bring a friend or attend as a pair?
We encourage you to bring your friends and co-workers but due to very limited capacity (8 spots), it will be charged as a separate ticket.
What if my computer is old or slow. Will it still work?
Hermes Agent is flexible enough to run on older MacBooks too! With that said, in rare circumstances, the computer you are using may be too old to run this tooling. If this happens, you are welcome to pair with another student to learn the new tools.
What if my computer is owned by a company I work for
Sometimes businesses put restrictions on work computers. Therefore, we encourage you to bring your own PERSONAL MacBook. When we set up your agent on your machine, it can do incredible things, and for that reason your company may restrict us from setting up your computer for your AI unlock.
Do I need to install anything before I arrive?
Yes, you will receive an email with setup instructions for your personal computer. We encourage you to set up your computer in advance, and sign up for a Nous Portal subscription in advance too (https://portal.nousresearch.com/manage-subscription). If you don't have time to do this, our team will help you during the workshop, and ensure your machine is set up and ready to create.
Is lunch provided, or should I bring my own food?
Lunch is not provided in the cost of the ticket. We'll do a group order from Honest Greens together during the day - cost of your meal is separate from your ticket.
Are there any additional costs?
Yes. To get the most out of this workshop, you will have to sign up for a Nous Portal subscription for $20/month at https://portal.nousresearch.com/manage-subscription. This will enable you to use the best in-class Hermes Agent tools.
What should I bring?
Please bring your personal MacBook, your computer charger, a notebook, pen or pencil, good vibes, and all of your past ideas.
What if i have a call or meeting during the workshop?
Don't worry, you have permission to step out and take a call, or do other work during the workshop. We encourage you to be present for the full day, but also understand and respect you may have to make a call or do other work.
What if I need additional help after the workshop?
Don't worry, you will receive free access to the Light School Lisbon WhatsApp community where you can share your progress and ask your questions and get help from the community. We will also be hosting future workshops and you are welcome to purchase access to a future session, continue your project, and get additional help from other community members.
What if the workshop doesn't work for me? "I'm not technical".
First, you are more powerful than you think. Additionally, if you stay the full day and are present with the team and other builders, and do not walk away with your own working Hermes Agent we will refund you the full ticket price.
