Attend the special preview of 'Sweet Iron' by Emmy and Oscar winning filmmakers.
Logline:
When her sacred forest, called the “Lungs of India,” is ravaged by mining, SONI SORI, an ordinary school teacher-turned-activist stops at nothing to save the beloved land of her indigenous community.
Consequently she is brutalized and tortured at the hands of the government. This sparks a nationwide movement and she finds herself the unlikely leader of an indigenous rebellion that shakes India.
