When you arrive, you’ll play a little game to find out who you’ll be sitting with.
Each table will get a conversation menu — a set of curated questions designed to spark curiosity, reflection, and laughter.
You come in as strangers, and (most likely) leave as friends.

This brunch is part of the National Library’s Thrive Festival, and we’re diving into the idea of creative confidence.
Creative confidence is not just about being “artistic.” It’s about trusting yourself to try, experiment, and bring new ideas into your work and life — even if the outcome isn’t guaranteed.
At the same time, we’ll also explore the theme of unconventional paths. In today’s fast-changing world, careers and lives don’t always follow a straight line. Some of us are carving out new directions, some are walking at a different pace, and others are mixing traditional routes with fresh twists.
It can feel lonely sometimes to figure it all out. But when we come together, share our stories, and bounce ideas off each other, we realise there are many ways to live a meaningful life — and the best one is the one built on our own terms.
