​At Club Dion, we believe that culture, community and care go hand in hand. That’s why we’re proud to donate 10% of all ticket proceeds for ‘It’s giving Dion’ to Black Trans Liberation Kitchen — a Brooklyn-based collective founded in 2020 by activist Qween Jean, which centers Black transgender and gender-nonconforming folks through weekly community kitchens, mutual aid, and food-sovereignty programming.  

​In a moment when federal food-assistance programs such as SNAP are being cut or delayed pushing already vulnerable communities further into food insecurity the work of Black Trans Liberation Kitchen matters more than ever. Their model isn’t just about meals. It’s about dignity, visibility, and radical care within a system that so often leaves Black trans people behind.
