Making it in America - the Business of Sport
Sport is where a lot of us first found community, in Ireland and again here in the Bay Area. Join the Irish Network Bay Area for an evening exploring what sport looks like from the inside: from grassroots clubs to the top of professional franchises, and what the Irish and Irish-American experience brings to both.
We have brought together a panel of speakers who have lived it at very different levels, from representing Ireland internationally to running the business side of Bay Area sport.
Joey Nevin - VP, San Francisco Giants
Aisling Blake - Former #1 Ireland Squash Player; Owner Squash Zone
Barry John Walsh - Former Kerry County Footballer; Owner-Operator, Highfield Hospitality
