Atma Webinar | Why Comms Needs a Seat at the Table
Communication is often brought in towards the end - when a programme is ready to launch, a report needs to be shared or a campaign needs to go out.
But good communications is not an afterthought. It starts with the planning.
This practical session will help participants think about communications more strategically and for the long term, and understand what it takes to build communications into organisational planning and decision-making.
Learn about:
Bringing communications into planning and decision-making - how to consider communications from the start, rather than as an end-stage activity
Thinking beyond individual posts and campaigns - approaching communications with a longer-term organisational perspective
Resourcing communications well - understanding the time, people, skills and budgets needed to do communications effectively
Building the right communications capacity - recognising when communications requires specialised skills and dedicated expertise
Who should attend:
This webinar is designed for nonprofit leaders, programme managers, communications professionals and team members responsible for organisational communications, fundraising, programmes or outreach.
