About Event

​🔊 Hi everyone! NAHJ and the Innovation Club are ending the semester with a fact checking for latino communities talk and workshop.

​Laura Zommer, CEO of Fact Chequeado is visiting on May 11, 1 pm –2:30 pm. Fact Chequeado is a media outlet in the US that covers american news for latino communities. They are currently using Whatsapp to connect with their audience and help dismantle missinformation.

​We'll explore how to work with these communities and will have a workshop on fact checking too.

​Pizza will be served so we’ll also feed you🫦.
