10/10 The Nonprofit Hive's Idealist Day: Building Community, Together

​Building community takes more than a good idea. It takes showing up, trying things, learning from what works, and having people around you who understand what you’re trying to create.

​The Nonprofit Hive's Idealist Day is a curated working space for people actively building meaningful community in some way. That might be a local gathering, a peer network, a nonprofit community, a national initiative, a values-aligned movement, or any space designed to help people feel more connected and less alone.

​Each gathering creates room to:

• ​celebrate what has moved forward

• ​talk honestly about what’s working and what isn’t

• ​bring ideas or challenges to the group

• ​learn from what other community builders are trying

• ​ask for feedback, resources, connections, or accountability

• ​commit to one next step before we meet again

​Each month, one or two community builders will also have an opportunity to share what they’re working on and ask the group for specific support. You do not need to arrive with a polished presentation or have everything figured out. Early ideas, unfinished experiments, and honest questions are welcome.

​This is not a traditional networking event. It’s an ongoing working conversation for people who want to build stronger, more connected communities—and who are open to learning out loud, supporting others, and coming back to share what happened next.

​To help keep the space useful and aligned, registrations will be reviewed before attendance is confirmed.
