Oakland Civic Assembly After After Party - Hosted by East Bay Civic Hub

Keep the Celebration Going | Oakland Civic Assembly After-After Party

Oaklanders chosen by lottery have spent three weekends learning, listening, and working together on a big question: how can Oakland transform its vacant lots and empty storefronts into spaces that serve the community?

On October 4, the Oakland Civic Assembly completes that process. That’s something worth celebrating.

After the assembly’s own closing celebration, the East Bay Civic Hub is inviting delegates, organizers, volunteers, friends, and curious neighbors to keep the evening going at Guadalajara.

If you’ve been part of the assembly, come unwind and let us celebrate what you’ve put into it. If you’re new to it, come meet some neighbors who care about Oakland and hear about this remarkable experiment in local democracy.

Sunday, October 4 · after 6:30 p.m.
Guadalajara · 1001 Fruitvale Avenue, Oakland

You don’t need to have attended the assembly to join us. Come say hello, raise a glass, and enjoy some good company.
