#23 Lady's Lab: Fix the Work, Not the People ✏️
The Lady’s Lab (Bi-Weekly)
Real conversations. No masks. No gatekeeping.
The Lady’s Lab is a bi-weekly facilitated space to think things through with other women who understand the reality of the work.
This isn’t a class or a workshop.
There’s no hierarchy, no fixing, no performance.
Just thoughtful conversation with women navigating leadership, change, and the messy middle of building meaningful work.

Fix the Work, Not the People with Maja Grakalić
From silos to systems, from control to autonomy
Work doesn’t fix itself. It’s designed — intentionally or not.
And often, what looks like a people problem is something else entirely:
– a silos problem, not a tooling problem
– a structure that limits autonomy
– an environment that doesn’t support how people actually work
In this session, design strategist and futurist Maja Grakalić shares how organisations actually function — and how they can be redesigned.
Drawing on 15 years of experience (BBC, Crown Commercial Service, startups), she works across product, service, and systems — helping teams move beyond fragmented ways of working towards more coherent, human-centred structures.
This is not theoretical.
It’s grounded in real examples of change in action.
