Alexander founded Perfectly Dosed (PD) at UChicago through its CNVC program; he graduated from the university with a BA in Economics in 2022. PD was the first cannabis company backed by a leading university. Before PD, he worked at Zebra Ventures (previously Motorola Ventures) on portfolio company turnarounds. Alexander sits on the Hemp Beverage Alliance (HBA) Advisory Board, the largest THC beverage association, and is affiliated with The Asian American Foundation (TAAF), Gold House, and the Polsky Center. He guest lectures at UChicago College, the Booth School of Business, and the Kellogg School of Management focusing on entrepreneurship and early-stage startups
