Into the Field: dance meditation and conscious movement workshop
An online two-day exploration of community, belonging, and what the body knows about both
Community is not something we create.
It is something that emerges — when we remain present in our bodies while being with others.
There is a moment many of us know:
feeling drawn to a space, sensing I belong here —
and, at the same time, meeting the fear of not being accepted, not being seen, not being enough.
In this journey, we do not try to overcome these fears.
We allow the body to move with them.
Where this exploration begins
In many spaces, consent is approached as a clear verbal agreement:
ask first - then act.
This creates safety through structure.
Here, we explore another layer:
what happens before the question arises?
How does the body recognise its yes, its no, its hesitation?
How do we sense the space, and each other, before reaching toward contact?
This is not a rejection of consent.
It is a return to its source.
First - I meet myself:
do I want this movement? am I ready for this proximity?
Then - I meet the field:
what is happening between me and the space around me?
And only then - others:
how do we meet without losing ourselves?
Without this order, connection often becomes performance or compliance.
With it - it becomes real.
Through guided freedomDANCE practice, we explore how connection with community is lived physically —
how the body arrives, resonates, holds back, reaches out, and recognises where it already belongs.
This is not about fitting in.
Not about pleasing.
Not about performing connection.
It is about entering the field honestly -
from presence, from the belly, from inner knowing.
There are no VIP roles. No expectations to be anyone other than yourself.
Only a held space where you are invited to remain in your body while moving among others.
Community here is not something you join.
It is something you recognise.
