Ecosystem Listening & Mapping- Convening Strengthening ESOs in East Africa: Gaps, Coordination, and Capital

​Ecosystem Support Organizations (ESOs) including incubators, accelerators, venture studios, cooperative enablers, and technical assistance providers play a critical role in building ESG-aligned entrepreneurial ecosystems across East Africa. Yet many ESOs operate in fragmented environments, face sustainability and funding constraints, and navigate increasing ESG expectations with limited coordinated support.

​This virtual listening and mapping session convenes ESOs to share operational realities, surface common challenges, and reflect on where coordination, capacity-building, or collective action could strengthen the ecosystem. The session is designed as a peer-to-peer dialogue, not a launch or promotional event, and does not assume a predetermined outcome.

​Insights from the discussion will inform an anonymized ecosystem brief to help shape future ecosystem-level support and collaboration.
