Ecosystem Listening & Mapping- Convening Strengthening ESOs in East Africa: Gaps, Coordination, and Capital
Ecosystem Support Organizations (ESOs) including incubators, accelerators, venture studios, cooperative enablers, and technical assistance providers play a critical role in building ESG-aligned entrepreneurial ecosystems across East Africa. Yet many ESOs operate in fragmented environments, face sustainability and funding constraints, and navigate increasing ESG expectations with limited coordinated support.
This virtual listening and mapping session convenes ESOs to share operational realities, surface common challenges, and reflect on where coordination, capacity-building, or collective action could strengthen the ecosystem. The session is designed as a peer-to-peer dialogue, not a launch or promotional event, and does not assume a predetermined outcome.
Insights from the discussion will inform an anonymized ecosystem brief to help shape future ecosystem-level support and collaboration.
