Effective Altruism Meetup Toronto

​Casual meetup for effective altruists, or those interested in AI safety, global poverty alleviation, human and animal welfare, and more generally making the world a better place. Whether you're brand new to EA, or a serial EAGx attendee, come share your thoughts and ideas!

​Motivation: AFAIK there hasn't been a big EA meeting in Toronto since EAGx Toronto 2024, and I want to change that. I’m eager to find community, and to talk to interesting people with aligned values, or, even better, have my values challenged.

​Call to Action: Bring your picnic blanket, and we'll hang out and chat on the grass by the baseball diamonds at the South-East end of Trinity Bellwoods Park.
