Join us for Astra Commons: Tokyo, a casual community meetup bringing together people who are building, experimenting, and working with Codex and AI.
This is a meetup, not a conference or a formal seminar. We’ll kick off with an opening session and a keynote on GPT-6 Astra by a Codex Ambassador, followed by an evening of conversations, sharing, and networking over food and drinks.
Whether you’re already using Codex every day, experimenting with AI-assisted workflows, or simply curious about how others are using these tools, you’re welcome to join. There’s no requirement to prepare a talk, demo, or presentation.
What to expect
Meet fellow Codex and AI users in Tokyo, exchange ideas and workflows, share what you’re building, and explore new ways of working with AI.
We’ll have **three networking areas—Casual, Advanced, and Share—**so you can find the conversations that interest you. Food and drinks will be provided at the venue.

18:30 — Doors open & check-in begins

19:00 — Regular check-in closes & the event begins
Please make sure to check in before 19:00.
19:00–19:30 — Opening session & keynote
We’ll kick off with a welcome and a keynote on GPT-6 Astra by a Codex Ambassador.
19:20 — Additional entry opportunity for late arrivals
Missed regular check-in? There will be an additional opportunity to enter at 19:20.
19:30–21:30 — Networking time
Connect, exchange ideas, and share what you’re building across our three areas: Casual, Advanced, and Share. Online participants will primarily join the Share area.
Please plan to check in before 19:00. If you miss regular check-in, there will be an additional opportunity to enter at 19:20.

Casual — Learn, connect, and chat
For anyone looking to deepen their knowledge of Codex and AI, meet new people, or enjoy relaxed conversations. You don’t need to be an expert bring your curiosity, ask questions, and connect with others.
Advanced — Go deeper
For people who want to exchange ideas about advanced workflows, explore niche use cases, and get into the details of how they use Codex and AI. A space for deeper discussions with others who enjoy experimenting and pushing these tools further.
Share — Show what you’ve built
An informal space to demo something you’ve built—including projects created during the meetup—or present a lightning talk (LT) you’ve prepared.
Presentation slots are not guaranteed. You’re also welcome to watch, ask questions, and join the discussion without presenting.
Online participants will primarily join the Share area.
Attendee credits
Eligible in-person attendees who check in at the venue will receive:
$100 in Codex credits
$50 in OpenAI API credits
These credits are available to eligible in-person attendees only. Details on eligibility and credit distribution will be shared at the event.
