SFP National GVP Expo: Opening Gala

​We begin the National GVP Expo weekend with an Opening Gala & Award Ceremony recognizing the work of pioneers in violence prevention.

​The Opening Gala Evening's awardees include Jens Ludwig and Roseanna Ander accepting on behalf of UChicago Crime Lab, Michael Strautmanis accepting on behalf of My Brother's Keeper (MBK) Alliance of The Obama Foundation, Ricardo Estrada accepting on behalf of Metropolitan Family Services' MPI and Communities Partnering 4 Peace (CP4P) programs, Dr. Franklin Cosey-Gay & Dr. Selwyn Rogers for their work in University of Chicago Medicine's Violence Recovery Program/Urban Health Initiatives and Trauma Center, and Arne Duncan on behalf of Chicago CRED.
