Secure your spot at Women in Recruitment Leadership: Clarity Under Pressure: Market Data Meets Self-Enquiry
An exclusive afternoon for ambitious women shaping the future of recruitment.
An invitation-only gathering for ambitious women shaping the future of recruitment. This session brings together the latest industry data and market forecasting from Maxine Bligh of the REC, alongside a hands-on experience in the art of self-enquiry with Katy Green - combining a clear-eyed read on where the market's heading with space for genuine reflection on how you lead. Designed for founders and senior leaders who are navigating high-pressure environments and want to lead with more clarity, both in the business and in themselves.
What to Expect
An afternoon of insight, honesty and genuine connection — combining a hands-on leadership experience with practical financial clarity, open discussion, and meaningful networking over refreshments. Everyone takes part in both discussion groups. Come ready to think differently, test how you lead under pressure, and leave with a clearer view of how to build a business that performs without burning you out.
Speakers
Maxine Bligh – Chief Membership & Innovation Officer, Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC)
Maxine took up her role on the REC Executive in June 2023, taking responsibility for the organisation's account management, sales and member services. She joined the REC following more than 12 years at a business representation organisation, most recently as Commercial Director leading on membership proposition and services, events and commercial partnerships, where she also established two new business lines — a successful economics consultancy and a leadership programmes business. Prior to this, Maxine was a consultant at SQW, specialising in regional economic regeneration.
Maxine will share the latest industry data and market forecast — and importantly, what it actually means for you and how to respond.

What Are You Carrying? An Experience in the Art of Self-Enquiry
About Katy: after building and leading multiple multi-million-pound businesses, Katy discovered that success doesn't always bring the fulfilment we expect. Her own journey led her beyond strategy and performance into a lifelong exploration of awareness, identity and what it truly means to come home to yourself. Today, she creates deeply reflective experiences for leaders, founders and business owners, drawing on nature, symbolism, embodied practices, archetypal wisdom and self-enquiry - rather than offering answers, she creates the space for people to rediscover the wisdom that has always been within them.
We spend so much of our lives looking outside ourselves for the next answer, strategy or solution. But what if some of the most powerful answers aren't out there at all?
And what if some of the beliefs, roles and identities that helped you become successful are now the very things weighing you down?
In this experiential session, Katy Green will invite you to turn your attention inwards and become curious about the stories you've been carrying, the different parts of you that have been driving the way you live and lead, and what might be ready to change.
This isn't a traditional business or mindset workshop. There'll be no fixing, forcing or telling you who you need to become.
Instead, through story, self-enquiry, reflection and a simple partnered experience, you'll be given the space to listen to yourself differently and uncover your own insights.
You'll leave with:
- Greater awareness of what's really driving some of your choices and behaviour
-Insight into the roles, beliefs or "loyal soldiers" you may still be carrying
- A different relationship with the parts of yourself you've previously tried to silence or change
- A simple approach to self-enquiry you can continue using long after the session
-And perhaps most importantly, a little more clarity about what you want to carry with you into your next chapter — and what you might finally be ready to put down
Because what if the next level of your business — and your life — isn't asking you to become more, but to remember more of who you already are?
