9/9 The Nonprofit Hive's Idealist Day: Building Community, Together
Idealist Day is evolving into something a little more intentional.
At The Nonprofit Hive, we’ve been thinking a lot about what it actually takes to build community — not just talk about it, but keep showing up, trying things, learning from what works, and staying connected to others doing the same.
So moving forward, our Idealist Day gatherings will be shaped as a curated accountability and brainstorming space for community builders.
This is for people who are actively working on building meaningful community in some way. That might be a local or hyperlocal gathering, a peer network, a nonprofit community, a national initiative, a values-aligned movement, or a space that helps people feel less alone in the work they’re doing.
Together, we’ll create room to share:
what we’re building
what we’re trying
what’s working
what’s not working yet
where we want accountability
what we can learn from each other
This is not a traditional networking event. It’s a working conversation for people who want to build stronger, more connected communities — and who are open to learning out loud with others.
To help keep the space useful and aligned, we’ll be reviewing registrations before confirming attendance.
