​Alignment is a two-sided problem. Billions have been poured into making AI systems more capable and aligning them with human values — but almost nothing into preparing our institutions, economies, and democracies to receive them.

​A new coalition of 23 researchers, builders, and civic leaders (including RxC's own Glen Weyl and Jess Scully) calls this neglected other side reverse alignment, in an essay just out in Noema (with a companion paper forthcoming in Science).
