Planetary Adulthood: Reconnecting with Hope — An Open Introduction
One hour online: an introduction to Planetary Adulthood, and an invitation to host or join a Salon in your own city this December.
Human civilization has become planetary before it has fully learned how to be planetary. Planetary Adulthood names the developmental transition from being a planetary force to becoming a more conscious planetary actor.
Since April, the Fellowship on Flourishing in a Time of Metacrisis has brought together practitioners, researchers and builders working across technology, regeneration, education, somatics, media, community and collective intelligence. What connects us is a shared question:
How do we grow into the world we are creating?
On October 23, we are opening this inquiry to a wider community.
Reconnecting with Hope
Our first public activation, Planetary Adulthood: Reconnecting with Hope, takes place on December 4–5. It combines an online gathering with locally hosted Planetary Adulthood Salons, where people explore these questions through food, embodied presence and structured conversation.
In this hour we will explore:
what Planetary Adulthood is, and why it matters now;
the Fellowship and what is emerging through it;
how to take part in December, including hosting or joining a Salon.
We will also try a short practice together, so you can experience the approach and not only hear about it.
This is not a presentation of a finished doctrine. It is an invitation into an emerging field of inquiry and practice.
Who should come?
This gathering is for people who are already asking, in one form or another, what it means to live and act responsibly in a time of accelerating technological, ecological and social change.
You may be a researcher, practitioner, educator, technologist, community builder, facilitator, funder or simply someone looking for serious and practical ways to engage with these questions. You do not need prior knowledge of Planetary Adulthood, and you do not need to be affiliated with the Fellowship.
Come if you want to explore Planetary Adulthood, meet the people developing it, and find a practical way to take part.
Speakers: Pavel Luksha, Boaz Feldman, and members of the Fellowship
Free to attend. A recording will be sent to everyone who registers.
