Why Should We Care About Shrimp? + free food

​Do shrimp matter morally? Seems at first like a quite silly question. Especially compared against other issues which face humans and more human-like mammals. However, shrimp are the most farmed animal on the planet, and there's some evidence which suggests that they can feel pain and that the practises involved in their farming cause them to suffer.

​Mike Wilson will be hosting the event and has in the past participated in a campaign to improve the conditions farmed shrimp face across the world,

​However, there is much ethical, scientific, and otherwise debate and controversy surrounding whether or not shrimp matter, and if they do, how we might prioritise shrimp welfare over, say, the welfare of other animals or indeed humans.
