Diana Richey is an investor, tax attorney, and writer whose work bridges disciplined financial practice with a broader exploration of how building financial resources can support an intentional life.
With more than two decades of experience in law and finance, she began her career as an international tax attorney advising individuals, private funds, and multinational corporations on cross-border planning, charitable structures, and long-term capital strategy.
Today, she manages her own money with an emphasis on risk awareness and process-driven decision-making. Through her Substack, she teaches the fundamentals of investing with a focus on building income and long-term capital. She shares her own portfolio as a transparent reference, walking through trades as she makes them so readers can learn and grow alongside her.
Diana holds a B.A. from the University of Chicago and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) professional. She sits on the 501(c)(3) boards of Nature and Culture International and Amanzi: Water to Schools.
