Rogaland Toastmasters Meeting - Finding Light in The Dark

🕯️ Finding Light in the Dark

November in Rogaland: the sun is gone before dinner, and it's easy for the mood to follow it. Yet the stories people remember are rarely about the easy days. They're about the moment something turned: a setback that taught something, a stranger who said the right thing, one small light in a long winter.

Great speakers know this. The talks that stay with an audience don't skip the dark part. They walk you through it and show you where the light came in. Honest struggle, a turning point, a way forward: that's a structure anyone can learn.

Our meeting runs on a simple mechanic: prepared speeches, a live evaluation after each one, and Table Topics®, where you're handed a question you've never seen and speak on it for a minute or two. This time, all of it is about finding light in the dark: resilience, hope, and the small things that carry us through the season.

✨ Bring your own spark. We'll supply the questions.

🎤 Guests attend free and pick their own level: watch quietly, or take a Table Topics® question. Nobody is called on unwillingly, and nobody has to share anything more personal than they want to.
