From Qubits to Cures: Bridging Yale's Quantum and Life Sciences Strengths
Session 1: Quantum Computing & Cryptography
For Yale Faculty only
Quantum technologies are creating new opportunities for accelerating discovery in the life sciences. This session convenes Yale faculty and industry leaders to explore the intersection of quantum and life sciences.
Through moderated panels, open discussion, and networking, From Qubits to Cures introduces Yale faculty to the ways quantum computing and cryptography can address real-world biomedical and pharmaceutical needs. Participants will examine emerging applications — including secure data, advanced computational methods, and novel sensing and imaging tools — and identify opportunities for academic–industry collaboration.
Featuring the Yale Quantum Institute and highlighting Yale's role in advancing Connecticut's quantum ecosystem through QuantumCT, the session is built to spark new research partnerships and surface concrete innovation opportunities.
Who should attend: Yale faculty and senior-level researchers working in quantum science, life sciences, or related fields.
